It has discovered a new childhood growth disorder linked yo leukemia. It is an overgwroth syndrome.
First, they thinked that it wasn't linked with leukemia but later they discovered it was.
They didn't know why some guys were, for example, much taller than the other guys, and they discovered that it was caused by leukemia.
It makes that now a lot of parents will know why their children are having these types of mutation and maybe it is not inherited from their parents. So before they didn't know why, but now they know so it is more or less a good new for them.
They should continue investigating about it because if no one has this disease it will be better.
